Happy Friday to everyone! Hope you have big plans for the weekend. Liam has a birthday party this afternoon and then tonight we are hanging out with friends. Tomorrow Simon’s going to Chicago to see Man U play the Chicago Fire (he’s a little excited, I’m less so) and the boys and I will be hanging out with some of our favorite people in the evening (THAT, I am excited about). Plus I cleaned the horror that is our basement last night and aside from 8 boxes of clothes and a bunch of baby toys that need to go in our MOPS consignment sale, it’s looking good – cross that one off the list!
1. If your husband had the BIG V and you got pregnant what would your first reaction be? For the dudes, what would your first reaction be if your wife told you she was pregnant after the Big V?
I would be surprised but not sad, I secretly would love a third child but know that Simon is not okay with that and I kind of need him to be on board with it. Now if it were Simon, he would be super ticked and not at all happy, that I can promise you. Especially because he hates it when something does not react the way it is supposed to – and that’s definitely an instance of something not doing its job!
2. Best memory about this summer so far.
Last weekend we were playing out in the yard with the kids and had their pool and the sprinkler out. And I was refilled their pool and would occasionally spray the kids with the hose and then Simon and then we started a big water fight and in the end all four of us were soaked and laughing. Sometimes the best memories are completely unplanned and I like it that way!
3. How often do you change your sheets? Your kids sheets?
I plead the fifth on that one (or perhaps I should say, filth). The crib sheets get done once a week but Liam’s bunkbed is done much less often and ours even less. Gross, I know. I have nothing to say to defend myself.
4. Having just gone through TSA, would you rather have a full-body scan or a pat-down?
Full body scan, I have no problem with that, but I don’t like people I don’t know touching me.
5. Since it is fair time…what’s your favorite fair (county or state) memory?
I think I’ve only been to a county fair one time. Wait, we did go to the Houston Rodeo this year which was pretty much like the fair memory I have. So I guess I’ll go with the rodeo since my kids enjoyed it so much and those moments are priceless! Plus, Liam got to pet a llama and he looked so darn cute by it!
That is an adorable picture of your babe and the llama!

Aww Happy Birthday to Liam! I agree with you the best memories, sometimes, are the ones that are totally not planned 🙂 I have been to a country fair, but never a Rodeo, and I so want to go!! ~The pictures is adorable~
