Music Monday: Guilty Pleasures

And now is when I will admit to liking music that I probably shouldn’t. But I do. There you have it.

I wasn’t sure I was going to share this, but why not, I have nothing to hide. It’s not that I seek this song out or have downloaded it but if it comes on the radio, I will sing along (unlike anything by Kesha which I will turn off IMMEDIATELY). And there is something about him that fascinates me to no end, I admire his confidence.

Hope

I was cleaning out a filing cabinet and found a small spiral-bound book of index cards which I had bought back in 2000 to write down bible passages that “spoke” to me. I only wrote down a handful before that habit fell to the wayside, but I thought it would be nice to revisit them in the coming weeks.

And hope does not disappoint us,
because God has poured out

Crafts I’d like to try:

  • I kind of love paint chips (I used to “collect” them from the paint department while my mom did her grocery shopping), so these picnic utensil holders are just adorable to me. (spied on Lisa Leonard Online)
  • What a great idea for a birthday gift or something special for my boys: Painted Block Puzzle
  • I always like pop-up cards and these instructions make them seem fairly non-stressful to make
